This week, to go along with the theme of the homework I found a simple poster design with an excellent illustration. This effectively communicates that Wisconsin and Cheese have a storied history (in case you somehow didn't know this already) . I think it successfully capitalizes on a nostalgic vibe with the Art Deco style, and the rolling green landscape with a classic red barn. It is asymmetrically balanced and is very interesting because of it, it holds you in this scene for a couple of seconds. However the type is symmetrically balanced, and utilizes simple square type, which immediately informs people of what this is about.
